ONTOLOGICAL FORUM FOR DISCUSSION ON PEACE

Description: This will be a true forum with the answers to the difficult questions of peace coming from the wealth of knowledge in our audience. Each registrant will be asked, prior to the event, to submit their greatest question around peace. Each question will be placed on identical pieces of paper, author’s name removed, then, one at a time, drawn from a container to be discussed. In one hour, we may cover one, two, or twenty, depending on the level of interest in a specific issue drawn.

The term “ontological” deals with existence or reality. Our District Peace Committee is seeking your ideas, concerns, and interest in the reality of creating an existence of peace in our world.

Facilitator: Though Jim Halderman will host the discussion and read questions, the “presenters” will be the attendees who offer to share thoughts and knowledge on the question on the floor at the time.
