Golden Rotary has been the lead international sponsor for two global grants, working with the Somoto Nicaragua Rotary Club. 

The first global grant was for installing double pit latrines that provide proper sanitation to approximately 1400 people.

The second global grant was for installing wells in four villages and providing hygiene training. This grant provides clean water and proper hygiene practices to approximately 1800 people.
