Golden Rotary’s Vocational Service committee works with schools, teachers, and tradespeople to promote awareness of the opportunities available to students who decide to pursue a career in trades such as electrician, plumber, welder, carpenter, landscaper, auto mechanic, computer programmer, and so on. Golden Rotary periodically gives presentation to the Chamber Young Professionals group. The goal is to give young professionals better skills in such things as public speaking and to broaden their knowledge of various aspects of professional expertise such as intellectual property law.
